Government Relations


The Government Relations area provides leadership for local, state and federal legislation and serves as the primary liaison to elected officials. We work in concert with all areas of the College in a wide range of activities to advance our mission and goals. These efforts include:

  • Representing and advocating on behalf of the College for funding and policy initiatives to the Ohio General Assembly and the U.S. Congress
  • Informing College constituents about issues coming before the legislature that may have an impact to the College
  • Coordinating activities to influence legislative actions important to higher education
  • Assisting any students, faculty, staff, administrators and trustees with interactions and events involving elected officials
