Genealogy Basics

Online class.  Learn to trace your family history and make it come alive. This course provides hands-on examples that help you dig deeper into your family's past using several subscription-based websites that you will be able to access during the course.

*Students will have 6 weeks to complete the course.  Each class is available for 6 weeks, which are led by an instructor who releases assignments and is available for questions and guidance.  In our online classes, there are no scheduled class times where you are required to attend.  These classes offer students the flexibility to complete assignments and quizzes based on their own availability, as long as you complete each task by the deadline provided by the instructor. After registration, you will receive another email with instructions on how to access your online class.

Studio Art Welding

If you’ve ever wanted to make a simple sculpture or garden art to accent your flower bed, this is your chance. Shape steel with the help of an Owens artistic welding professional! Learn the basics of MIG welding and how to use common tools; just bring gloves and safety glasses, and wear proper attire (jeans, long sleeve shirt and work boots).
