First Generation College Student Celebration

First Generation College Student Day is celebrated nationally on November 8. The date was chosen to honor the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act (HEA) of 1965. The HEA is key legislation that led to the creation of college-access programs like TRIO.  

Open to students, faculty and staff. 

Sponsored by TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC)
