Most people have an idea of where they would like their career to end up; however, most may not know the exact path that they will take to get there. Join T.J. as he discusses how having a willingness to try different facets of the arts led to having many unique experiences within his own path, and how “keeping your mind open” can lead to endless opportunities for growth within your career!
Todd “T.J.” Tressler is a Music Business Technology graduate from Owens Community College. Prior to his time at Owens, he had experience in Graphic Design, Videography, and Film. While enrolled at Owens, T.J. tried out many different aspects of the arts, such as Audio Recording, Music Technology, Music Business, and Live Sound. During this time, he also was a DJ for Owens Community College Radio, and completed his internship at Glass City Radio. Post-graduation, T.J. moved to Southern California and became an Audio-Visual Event Technician with Encore Global, where he utilizes his well-versed knowledge of the arts by combining audio, video, and lighting to create spectacular events for clients.
