“The Faces Of…” Art Exhibit @ Heritage Hall Lounge-Area
Apr 10 – May 10 all-day

What does the face of depression, chronic illness, bipolar disorder, etc. look like?  Do they even have faces?  Invisible illnesses have faces, come see and learn about why not judging first but extenting grace is so important.

Understanding Grief and Loss @ Center for Fine and Performing Arts Theatre

Dr. Craig Vickio is a clinical psychologist that has connected with many students of different backgrounds by assisting as their teacher, counselor and adviser. He worked at Bowling Green State University for 30 years in the Counseling Center before retiring in 2016. He continues to teach courses on an adjunct basis at Bowling Green State University and Wright State University. 

Join us for a discussion of the four key tasks associated with grieving and how we might be of assistance to those who are experiencing grief.

This event is in partnership with Counseling Services and The BIG Read.

Professional Interview Experience & Networking Event @ Heritage Hall 123

This event consists of two parts:  1) mock interviews and 2) networking.  All students who sign up for this event need to participate in both parts.  Please read the description below before making your selection.

Indigenous Peoples’ Discussion Panel @ College Hall 100
May 4 @ 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm

Join Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Owens Library, and Student Activities at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4 for an Indigenous Peoples’ Discussion Panel as follow-up programming to the Indigenous Peoples’ Day event this past Fall in CH 100 and Livestreamed.

The panel will include:

  • Jacob Skaggs, member of the Ojibwe Nation
  • Mary Jane Bryant, member of the Ojibwe Nation
  • Jamie Oxendine (tentative), Director, Black Swamp Intertribal Foundation
  • Rajesh Nagisetty, Instructor of GPH220 Geographic Information Systems
    • GPH220 students are working on indigenous mapping projects this semester.
