Join Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Owens Library, and Student Activities at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 4 for an Indigenous Peoples’ Discussion Panel as follow-up programming to the Indigenous Peoples’ Day event this past Fall in CH 100 and Livestreamed.
The panel will include:
- Jacob Skaggs, member of the Ojibwe Nation
- Mary Jane Bryant, member of the Ojibwe Nation
- Jamie Oxendine (tentative), Director, Black Swamp Intertribal Foundation
- Rajesh Nagisetty, Instructor of GPH220 Geographic Information Systems
- GPH220 students are working on indigenous mapping projects this semester.
Scholars present their completed Honors Contracts in a formal presentation to the College community and guests at the Symposium, which highlights the pinnacle of academic work from Honors Scholars.
