Confronting Biases @ College Hall 100

Unconscious biases that revolve around race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, etc. are in the background of our minds; we are often unaware of how they influence our decisions and thinking.  Join Dr. Kristen Price, Professor of Psychology, and Jamie Oxendine from the Black Swamp Intertribal Foundation as we discuss overcoming these biases during this dynamic presentation.

The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard

Feuding theatre critics Moon and Birdboot are swept into the ‘whodunit’ they are viewing. It is a hilarious spoof of Agatha Christie-like melodramas. As mists rise about isolated Muldoon Manor, Moon and Birdboot become dangerously implicated in the lethal activities of an escaped madman.

Financial Aid Freeze Date for Fall 2023

The courses for which students are registered at the end of the business day on the freeze date will determine financial aid eligibility as long as completed FAFSA results are on file at Owens. Patriot Day Commemoration @ Center for Fine and Performing Arts Theatre

Join us in the CFPA Theatre at 11 a.m. Monday, September 11 as Veterans Services commemorates Patriot Day by remembering those who lost their lives. The program includes a Color Guard, a speaker, Dr. Margaret DeLillo-Storey, who will speak about mental health and resiliency and Taps to conclude the event.
