Northern Ohio American Red Cross Volunteer Recruitment @ College Hall 148

Kevin Brooks from American Red Cross will be available in the Center for Campus and Community Connections to meet with students interested in learning more about becoming a disaster relief volunteer.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Volunteers carry out 90% of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. Volunteer needs include:

• Respond to local disasters, most commonly home fires, to help with immediate needs.
• Deploy to large scale disasters such as hurricanes and wildfires to provide shelter support.
• Greet, check in and thank blood donors at blood drives.
• Provide support to military members, veterans and their families.

Beginning November 1, First Gen Student/First Gen Student Advocate buttons can be picked up from TRIO Student Support Services, Fast Track Program, Veterans Services, Disability Resource Center, The Owens Library and The Center for Campus and Community Connections offices.
