Nov 8 @ 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Artificial intelligence (AI) has caused quite a buzz this year. On the one hand, we have doomsayers on street corners heralding it as the end of human creativity and expression, while on the other hand, we have those rejoicing at the boundless possibilities that come with artificial intelligence. Join James for a deep dive on the challenges of machine learning, the implications it has on humanity, and how artificial intelligence may be used to our benefit.

James Zeller is the Student Life Coordinator and responsible for the various activities across both Owens campuses. James holds degrees in the fields of Philosophy and Religious Studies, where he has previously been interested in subjects ranging from mysticism and consciousness studies to epistemology and linguistics. His eclectic nature is further exacerbated by his interests in meditation, symbolism, esotericism, and Dungeons and Dragons. He lives in a hovel with his wife, daughter, and loving cat named Stella.

About the book

The cozy mystery novel is about the Culpepper sisters, who are busy readying their shop for the upcoming All Hallows’ Eve Parade and Pageant, honoring five accused and hanged witches in the 1600’s, when a brutal murder takes place in the town square. This horrific crime inflames town suspicion and threatens to uncover Culpepper family secrets bubbling just beneath the surface.
