The Owens Community College Foundation will be accepting applications from current and prospective students for the 2023/2024 academic year starting January 13, 2023. The Foundation has nearly 90 scholarships available and awards to just over 200 students annually in all program areas. Over $251,000 was awarded for the 2022/2023 academic year alone!
Please encourage your students to consider applying soon. Priority application deadline is March 12, 2023 and the entire process is completely online and very user friendly. Please help us spread the word that scholarships are available for EVERY program area. Ask your students – “is one hours of your time worth $500, $2,000 or even $4,000?”
Only one application needs to be completed to be considered for all available scholarships. There are three easy steps to follow:
Step One:
Visit the Owens website at www.owens.edu/foundation/scholarships and read the Student Information section prior to applying
Step Two:
Click the online application link and sign-in to submit your application
Step Three:
Check your student email weekly to complete follow-ups if prompted
NOTE: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) also needs to be completed by April 1, 2023 to be considered for scholarships that are based on financial need.
