The Center for Campus and Community Connections will be hosting nearly 30 community partner organizations at the Fall Action/Resource Fair from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, September 21 in Heritage Hall 123 A/B. Those organizations will share the work they are doing in the community and how they may be of service to students.
Organizations will also share opportunities for volunteering and community engagement.
Learn about our career-focused associate degrees and certificates as well as the opportunity to get started on a bachelor’s degree that transfers!
Staff will provide:

- FAFSA Workshops

This is an opportunity for you to kick off the fall semester and check out everything Owens Community College has to offer, including student organizations, campus offices and helpful resources!
We will have free lunch, music, giveaways, information tables and fun!
Students arrive in costume the day before and have their photos taken. Overnight, brand new plays are written. The actors return for rehearsals and then these new plays are performed! Admission is free.

The Humanities and Fine Arts Departments are pleased to announce The Silo, a creative work journal for Owens Community College students and alumni. The Silo is published each spring semester. In collaboration with an Owens Community College professor, students will revise their creative work after the submission deadline.
Submissions are due September 29, 2023.*
