CANCELED – Green Dot Session @ College Hall 148

Due to preventative measures, this event has been canceled. Green dots represent big or small acts that can help demonstrate a commitment to a safe campus. The Green Dot violence prevention program involves the entire College campus. Please join us to learn how you can incorporate Green Dot strategies to promote a safe campus. Light snacks and refreshments provided. Students who attend a full training session will receive a Green Dot t-shirt.

Due to Social Distancing guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and the Governor’s office, this event has been canceled. This mission of this initiative is to increase the retention and professional experience of faculty and staff of color at Owens Community College in accordance with Strategic
Goal 5.2. This program is designed to enhance support for faculty and staff in addition to share resources that impact career, professional and personal development.

Financial Aid Book Vouchers Begin for Summer 2020

Financial aid book vouchers are available for use at the Follett Bookstore at Owens or online.  Students may check the Financial Aid Summary section in Ozone for an active message about book voucher eligibility.  For assistance, contact Oserve (567) 661-2387.

CANCELED – Fifty-fourth Annual Spring Commencement Ceremony @ Student Health and Activities Center

Due to the CDC’s restrictions on large gatherings, it is with sadness that we must cancel the Spring Commencement. Graduates will still receive their degrees. We will invite graduates to the Fall Commencement to participate in the ceremony and celebrate their achievements.
