Owens Community College’s Center for Fine and Performing Arts Department invite local High School Student Artists to enter their work in our High School Juried Art Show titled “Passages.” The exhibition will take place in the Rotunda of the Center for Fine and Performing Arts Building on the Owens Community College Campus. This is an opportunity for High School Student Artists in the community to participate in a juried art exhibit and to win Owens Community College Merit Scholarships. “Passages” is open to high school students working in Fine Art, Photography, Commercial Art, Video and Animation. The Visual Arts faculty of Owens Community College will jury the exhibit and prizes will be awarded at the opening reception.

Financial aid disbursements begin for eligible students. Students with credit balance refunds should allow approximately 3-5 business days after the Refund as Selected message appears on Ozone to be refunded using the method selected by the student. Common Time encourages students to meet one another across Fine and Performing Arts programs, build new relationships, discuss projects and learn about resources and opportunities.

Location: The Owens Center for Fine and Performing Arts
Casting: 5-8 men, 5-8 women
Production dates: April 18, 19, 20 and 21 in Owens’ CFPA Theatre
Contact jeremy_meier@owens.edu to schedule an audition for either February 12 or 13.
Audition times are available for 6:00pm and 7:30pm on these dates.
Singing Audition:
• Prepare a pop song or musical selection to be sung at the audition.
• Bring sheet music in the proper key with you to the audition.
• An accompanist will be provided.
There will also be a portion of the audition in which participants will learn and then demonstrate some choreography. Please dress appropriately in active wear for the audition.
