The Silo Submissions Due

The Humanities and Fine Arts Departments are pleased to announce The Silo, a creative work journal for Owens Community College students and alumni. The Silo is published each spring semester.  In collaboration with an Owens Community College professor, students will revise their creative work after the submission deadline.

Submissions are due September 29, 2023.*

* People of all ages, cultures, disabilities, ethnicities, expressions, neurodiversities, orientations, and races are encouraged to submit. All work submitted must not be published elsewhere or being considered for publication elsewhere.

Dr. Pescara-Kovach is a national expert on gun violence in the United States. Go beyond the statistics and facts as we explore historical, psychological, and sociological factors that help us to make sense of gun violence while better guarding ourselves these threats.
