“The Faces Of…” Art Exhibit @ Heritage Hall Lounge-Area

What does the face of depression, chronic illness, bipolar disorder, etc. look like?  Do they even have faces?  Invisible illnesses have faces, come see and learn about why not judging first but extenting grace is so important.

Owens Express Baseball at Fifth Third Field @ Fifth Third Field

Mark your calendars! The Owens Express baseball team, led by head coach John Parisho, is returning to Fifth Third Field in downtown Toledo for an exciting doubleheader in preparation for the postseason. The Express will take on the Marian University’s Ancilla College Chargers on Tuesday, April 18, beginning at 5 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids ages 6-17 as well as Senior/Military tickets. Owens Community College can unlock free tickets using the promo code EXPRESS. Students may present their student ID at the box office on game day for free admission.

Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23.

College Grief Day @ Veterans Hall 100

Students who have or are experiencing grief can stop by the Counseling Room for cookies, snacks, tea and coffee and engage with mental health staff for additional prizes and group or individual discussions around grief and loss. Dr. Vickio, a professor and expert on grief and loss, will be speaking on campus on Tuesday, May 2 to provide further support and information on this topic for students in collaboration with Student Activities.
