The War of the Worlds: The 1938 Radio Script – Student Theatre Production @ Center for Fine and Performing Arts Theatre

Broadcast from New York’s Mercury Theatre in 1938, this infamous radio play, based on the novel by H. G. Wells, had many terrified listeners convinced that an actual alien invasion of Earth was taking place. Adapted by Howard E. Koch and originally directed and narrated by Orson Welles, this original script detailing the frightening tale of an extraterrestrial takeover comes to life onstage to thrill and chill audiences!

Student Workshop: How to Build a Healthy Brain @ Heritage Hall 137

Note: all sessions will include practical tips for personal as well as academic application (for example, how better sleep can improve grades…how regular exercise can improve grades).

PAWS – Pet Away Worry and Stress @ College Hall 148

The Center for Campus and Community Connections is partnering with the Toledo Animal Rescue to provide visiting friendly adoptable pets (cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, guinea pigs) to campus where students can be invited to visit and spend time with them for stress relief.
