The Owens Harvest Food Pantry opened in February 2011 in response to a growing need for food support for our students. Similar to the Community Garden, the pantry exists to offer support to students in need while also offering valuable on-campus service learning opportunities for students.
All registered Owens students are eligible to receive food benefits and must show a valid student ID during open pantry hours. The Harvest Food Pantry is located on the Toledo-area Campus in Kingsley Hall room 104 and is open on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. when classes are in session.
Donations are always accepted for nutritious, non-perishable food items. Hygiene items are also appreciated.
