Owens Harvest Community Garden

The Owens Harvest Community Garden was established in May of 2010 to offer on-site service learning opportunities to Learning Community students. The garden is a living/learning lab used by a variety of course disciplines. The Owens Urban Agriculture and Landscape and Turfgrass Management programs partnered with the Office of Service Learning to build and develop the garden. Students continue to apply their academic knowledge in the garden by working and providing creative input.

We invite students, faculty, staff and any member of the Owens community to enjoy the garden, help with volunteer gardening days and share produce with Owens community members in need.
