Faculty Resources

Faculty interested in incorporating Service Learning or community based activities into course curriculum should contact the Office of Service Learning and Community Education to set up an appointment to discuss service learning and individual course outcomes.

Faculty are invited to participate in the Service Learning Blackboard site. The page offers resources, forms and research on service learning and community engagement. If you would like to be added to the Blackboard, please send an e-mail to krista_kiessling@owens.edu or call (567) 6612275.

Faculty Fellows

The Faculty Fellows are Owens Faculty members who work with the service learning staff to establish relevant service, train and support faculty in his/her disciplinary area and promote service learning whenever possible. Faculty Fellows participate in specialized professional development opportunities and foster collaboration among a variety of academic areas. If you are interested in becoming a faculty fellow, contact Krista Kiessling at krista_kiessling@owens.edu or call (567) 661-2275.
