Executive Director of Government & Community Relations
Jennifer Fehnrich is the Executive Director of Government & Community Relations. In the areas of government and community relations, she serves as the liaison to local, state and federal level government officials, as well as business and community leaders. Her responsibilities include advocating for legislative and economic issues relating to the College. She also oversees all aspects related to marketing and communications for the College, including mass media advertising campaigns and public and media relations efforts. She also has responsibilities for college-wide internal and external communication strategies.
Prior to her current role as executive director, Ms. Fehnrich served as director of public relations and marketing, and special assistant to the president for government relations during her tenure at Owens that began in July 2002. Before coming to Owens, Ms. Fehnrich spent three years in a marketing/communications role with Dana Commercial Credit, a subsidiary of Fortune 500 Dana Corp. in Toledo.
Fehnrich is a 2005 class graduate of Leadership Toledo, serves on the Lutheran Homes Society board, and currently holds the position of 2nd Vice President in the Rotary Club of Perrysburg. She earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Bowling Green State University and earned a master's degree in marketing and communications from Franklin University. She resides in Perrysburg.
