What is the Compass Test?

Need help preparing for the COMPASS test?

Take Compass Condensed Workshops before you test or if you place:

  • 25 or below in math
  • 35 or below in reading
  • 21 or below in composition on the COMPASS test

Condensed Workshops on the Toledo Campus
Reading/Writing: 4:45 p.m.
Math: 7 p.m.

Condensed Workshops at the Source
Math: 10:45 a.m.
Reading/Writing: 1 p.m.

Condensed Workshops on the Findlay Campus
Wednesday, 6-9 p.m.
Thursday, 9-noon
Room 146
Workshops will occur each week, through August 12th

If you place:

  • 25 or below in math
  • 35 or below in reading
  • 20 or below in composition on the COMPASS test

Then take the COMPASS Extended Preparation Classes.
You are welcome to attend a free 8-week Class at Owens Community College

Do you want to improve your COMPASS score?

If you score above 25 on math your first try at the COMPASS, then attend a COMPASS Workshop offered in the Learning Center to help develop math, writing and study skills. You are also encouraged to attend a workshop BEFORE you take the test the first time! If you would like some additional help, then use the COMPASS website for sample questions.
