Disability Services provides support services, information and guidance to students with disabilities who are attending or plan to attend Owens Community College. Services are coordinated for individuals with disabilities including, but not limited to, those with physical, learning, mental health, chronic health, or sensory related disabilities.
It is recommended that each student identify any need at least three weeks prior to anticipated enrollment. To determine if students are eligible for services, appropriate documentation must be provided. Documentation must be completed by a qualified individual and provide current levels of functioning.
The mission of the Office of Disability Services is to support the college in ensuring access to programs and services and to assist students with disabilities through the provision of accommodations, referrals, information, and resources.
