Students who are recognized as an honors graduate will receive a gold honor cord. The Records Office will be distributing the gold honor cords at Commencement ceremony practice and at check-in the evening of the ceremony.
Students with a GPA of 3.50 or higher at the time of the Commencement ceremony will be recognized as honors graduates. Please consider that your current overall GPA could already include some current term grades. If with the inclusion of final semester grades, your GPA should place you in an honors classification, your degree diploma will reflect this recognition.
In order to check your current GPA status, log onto your Ozone account.
As a graduate, you will not receive your diploma at the Commencement ceremony; you will receive a diploma cover. You can expect to receive your diploma 30 business days following the ceremony.
Degrees are typically posted to the transcript record within 30 business days of the Commencement ceremony. If you request a transcript before your degree is posted to your record, mark the appropriate space on the request to indicate that the transcript should be sent after the degree is posted.
