MUS 110 - Survey of Recording History
This course covers the technological development of sound recording and establishes the historical context in which this development occurred. Topics covered include the evolution of studio recording practices and technologies as well as changes in the production, distribution, and consumption of music. Sound recording practices in cinema, radio, television, and digital media are also examined. (Music or Arts Elective)
