MIT 111 - Medical Imaging
Provides an orientation to several medical imaging modalities. Discusses the roles of medical imagers and the images they produce. Radiation protection of technologists, patients and others is discussed. Image evaluation criteria and imaging procedures are emphasized in lab. Simulated laboratory experiences are planned to provide the student opportunities to apply principles and skills learned.
