IDS 190 - Inter Approach Soc Diversity
Applying an interdisciplinary academic approach and employing a variety of perspectives, this course is designed and organized around such diversity themes as race, gender, class, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, age, disability, and global competency. Students will investigate these themes through multiple disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and cross-disciplinary perspectives including multicultural and intercultural understanding. The perspectives and theoretical frameworks used in this course will aid in the conceptualization and exploration of some of the issues related to various groups within the United States and throughout the world.
