CIM 125 - Cancer Disease Management
Introduction to the pathophysiology of cancer disease process. Ascertainment of presenting symptomatology, diagnostic evaluations, extent of disease evaluations and treatment modalities to include surgery, chemotheraphy, radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, palliative therapies, alternative therapies specific to cancer site and type. The role of clinical research trials in development of cancer treatments.
