CIM 100 - Registry Org & Operations
Introduction to cancer registries and the various settings in which they exist. Review the legal and ethical issues that impact cancer registries. Discuss cancer registry organization and operations to include cancer data management and utilization, cancer committee, cancer conference, quality improvement activities and cancer program approval and accreditation processes. Explore the various healthcare and disease related registries. Identify standard setters and regulating agencies.
