What's New in the Office of Student Accounts?

Transportation and Parking Fee

A transportation and parking fee will apply per semester based on a sliding scale as follows:

  • Students who are registered between 0 and 3 credit hours will not be charged.
  • Students registered between 4 and 9 credit hours will be charged $15 per semester.
  • Student registered for 10 or more credit hours will be charged $18 per semester.

Admission Application Fee

If you are a new student or a returning student who is applying for re-admission, a $20 fee will be assessed for completing the admissions application beginning Monday, March 18, 2013. The fee will be charged at the time you register for classes.

After you complete an admissions application, it remains active for one semester. If you do not register for classes during that semester, you must re-apply in order to attend classes the next semester.

Late Registration Fee

A $50 late registration fee will be assessed if you initially register for classes after the deadline listed below. The fee will only be charged for fall and spring semesters.

  • Semester -- Fall 2015
  • Semester Begins -- Monday, August 24, 2015
  • On-Time Registration Deadline -- 11:59 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2015
  • Late Registration Fee Begins -- 12 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2015

The late registration fee can be avoidable by planning ahead for your schedule of classes and registering before the On-Time Registration deadline.

Readmittance Fee

Students who have been withdrawn from classes and are requesting to be admitted back into classes will be charged a $50 non-refundable readmittance fee. This fee must be paid at time of readmittance.

Owens Debit Card

Owens Debit Card

Owens Community College has partnered with Higher One, a financial services company, to bring a new method of refund disbursement to students. Financial aid and tuition refunds will be disbursed to students via the Owens HigherOne Card.

With this new method, refunds will be delivered in the manner you choose:

  1. Easy Refund to the OneCard debit card = Fastest way to get your money!
  2. Electronic Funds Transfer to the student's bank account = Faster way to get your money.

Payment Method Changes

All cash and check payments are to be made by using the drop box located in College Hall by room 144, across the hall from Oserve for the Toledo campus and for Findlay in the Common Area by the bookstore. All refunds from payments will be sent to students' Higher One accounts.


Have not received a bill in the mail?
In order to control the rising cost of higher education, the Office of Student Accounts does not mail bills via U.S. Mail. Please refer to your Account Summary by Term on your Ozone account on the Financial Info tab.

Web Credit Card and WebCheck Payment

A Web Credit Card Payment and Web Check payment is a secure and effective method for students to make check and credit card payments online. Owens Community College accepts Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. For more information, log in to Ozone.
