Important 1098-T Tax Information

2016 1098-T tax information will be available to eligible students on or before January 31, 2017 per IRS Regulations. Students will be able to view and print the 2016 1098-T form on Ozone by clicking on the Financial Info tab, and in the Account Information section click on Print Tax Notification/1098-T.
Paper forms will not be mailed. Please refer to the 1098-T disclosure webpage.

Late Registration Fee

A $50 late registration fee will be assessed if you initially register for classes after the deadline listed below. The fee will only be charged for fall and spring semesters.

  • Semester -- Summer 2017
  • Semester Begins -- Monday, May 15, 2017
  • Semester -- Fall 2017
  • Semester Begins -- Monday, August 21, 2017
  • On-Time Registration Deadline -- 11:59 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017
  • Late Registration Fee Begins -- 12 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017

The late registration fee can be avoided by planning ahead for your schedule of classes and registering before the On-Time Registration deadline.

Readmittance Fee

Students who have been withdrawn from classes and are requesting to be admitted back into classes will be charged a $150 non-refundable readmittance fee. This fee must be paid at time of readmittance.


Owens Community College has partnered with BankMobile Disbursements, a financial services company, for refund disbursement for students. Financial aid and tuition refunds will be disbursed to students via BankMobile.

Refunds will be delivered in the manner you choose:

  1. Electronic Deposit to your personal bank account.
  2. Electronic Deposit to a BankMobile Vibe account.

*Students under the age of 18 who are expecting a refund will receive a paper check mailed to the address the College has on file. Should a student under the age of 18 like to set up a refund preference through BankMobile Disbursements, this request will need to be made through Oserve.


Have not received a bill in the mail?
In order to control the rising cost of higher education, the Office of Student Accounts does not mail bills via U.S. Mail. Please refer to your Account Summary by Term on your Ozone account on the Financial Info tab.

Web Credit Card and WebCheck Payment

A Web Credit Card Payment and Web Check payment is a secure and effective method for students to make check and credit card payments online. Owens Community College accepts Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. For more information, log in to Ozone.

Please note that there will be a 2.75% non-refundable service fee charged on any credit/debit card transaction. Payments made by e-check from a checking or savings account are not subject to a service fee. For more information, please read the FAQs.
