The Interior Design Associate of Applied Science degree is designed to prepare students for employment in the interior design industry. The curriculum is developed through the guidance of a strong advisory committee composed of professional interior designers as well as experienced faculty.

Owens Interior Design students have access to a state-of-the-art finishing room, computer lab and design space, with all the necessary natural lighting. The award-winning faculty share their experience and love of interior design with students at all levels of experience.

Owens Community College has one of the strongest interior design programs in Northwest Ohio. Our facilities are already in place to support the anticipated growth of this program.

The Interior Design Certificate provides an introduction to the growing and lucrative field of Interior Design. The course sequence focuses on the essential elements of Interior Design with an emphasis in hands-on experience and practical application as well as providing a background in history and materials. The certificate is intended for students who are complementing or enhancing their education.
